This is my first attempt at Sonic-Pi -- I got excited after learning you can do a loop, and slice it up, which is great for breakcore stuff ... It takes ages to do in Renoise, where I can achieve the same results in Sonic-pi with 6 or so lines of code!!
slice_idx = rand_i(8) # There are 8 slices in this with a slice_size of 0.125
